Alternate Route to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor to avoid construction delays

BAR HARBOR HOTELS ELLSWORTH HOTELS

Due to major road construction on Rte 1A consider using

one of these alternate routes to reach Ellsworth & Bar Harbor, Maine.

From Rte 95 South:

To avoid construction delays on Route 1A from Bangor to Ellsworth

from the south, take I-95 to Augusta, exit 113 (formerly exit 30),

and follow Rt. 3 to Bar Harbor.

From Rte 95 North:

To avoid construction delays on Route 1A from Bangor to Ellsworth,

from the north take I-95 South to exit 182A to I-395 E toward

Ellsworth/Bar Harbor. Take exit 4 for ME-15 S toward Brewer.

Keep left at fork, follow signs for Bucksport. Turn right on to ME-3 to Ellsworth.
